TOP 5 TIPS FOR BUYING JEANS WHEN YOU'RE A COLUMN SHAPE

1/  tip one for buying jeans when you're A column shape.

I know this probably isn't going to be a popular one, but my first tip for buying jeans is to buy jeans that feel a little snug.  Denim almost ALWAYS relaxes a little, so it pays to buy jeans that that are a little sung as this allows for them relaxing.  â€‹Next time you try jeans on, try on your usual size, and try a pair that are half a size smaller.  If you can get into the smaller pair, going for those, they should relax to the right size after a few hours of wear.

2 / Tip two for buying jeans when you're a column shape.

If you want to create a curvier shillouette, or want a more defined wasitline, look for jeans styles that have a little volume or below the waist band or around the hips and thighs.  Styles like this will create a  curvier bottom half, which will give you a more defined waistline.

3/ tip three for buying jeans when you're A column shape.

Jeans that have fading, rips, zippers or whiskering will add interest and depth to a pair of jeans, that can create the look of a curvier silhouette.

4/  tip four for buying jeans when you're A column shape.

Avoid buying jeans that are cut for a curvy figure.  Some brands have 'curvy' ranges that are designed for rounder hips, and defined waists so you may find they are a little loose on you around the hips and bum.  Regular cuts that have a slightly straighter cut will be a much better fit.

5/  tip five for buying jeans when you're A column shape.

Look for jeans that have a mid to high rise as these are a great way to create more definition at your waist.
