You probably have some questions about working with me...
How does this work?
This is an online service so as soon as you've purchased the package you want HERE, you'll receive an email from me with a link to my client questionnaire, a link to a private Pinterest board for you to fill, and detailed instructions on how to take 3 photos of yourself so I can determine your true body shape and colors. Once complete, we meet virtually to go through the questionnaire and address any questions either f us might have. Then I pull together a style direction board for you to illustrate the look I'm thinking for you. And when you're happy with that, you sit back, relax and leave me to source the perfect pieces for your collection. 5 days later, I'll present your collection to you via an online digital catalogue for you to shop from in the comfort of your own home.
I always have difficulty putting outfits together, how will this be any different?
The online catalogue that showcases your capsule collection shares detailed tips on how to wear each piece, and illustrates a whole host of outfit suggestions using the items I have sourced for you so you know exactly what to put with what and have the confidence that it looks good. If you have some favorite pieces in your current collection, these can be included in the outfit section of your catalogue so you can easily integrate your new pieces with your old pieces.
I'm worried I won't be able to afford the clothes you choose for me
I totally understand this. The last thing I want to do is to encourage you to spend more than you want to. You set the budget and it’s my job to spend that budget wisely and source what you need, without pushing you to spend more. One of the ways I do this is to make sure that the pieces i source are super versatile and can be mixed and matched to create as many outftis as possible. I also actively look for offers and discount codes for you to take advantage of.
What if the items sell out before I have time to buy them?
This is a great question! Especially at the moment when more people are shopping online i rather than in store! I keep a track of the pieces I source for you, and if at any point the stock is getting low I email you a link in advance of your look-book so you can secure the item (I also do this for items that are on offer for a limited time). As well as that, I have make a promise that if any items sell out within the first 7 days of me sending the look book, I will endeavor to find a suitable replacement.
I'm not very tech savvy, will I still be able to do this?
Absolutely! I've made this really easy to do - you just need a phone. The questionnaire can be filled in directly on your phone, we can communicate via email or using a messaging service like Whatsapp, and your catalogue is digital and can be viewed on your phone.
What measures do you put in place to ensure that you understand what I want?
I have been working with clients online, for the past 6 years, and over that time I have tweaked and improved my online client questionnaire to ensure that it provides me with all the information I need to be able to source you a collection of clothes that are right for YOU, and that align with your tastes.
Can there be a mix of summer and winter outfits?
In terms of seasons, I am limited by what is available in the stores so would predominantly be shopping for the current season. However, there are some key pieces that transcend the seasons such as denim, lightweight knits and jackets, and these are available year round, so while I can't shop for 2 different seasons a the same time, I can include a few transitional pieces to carry you through.
I'm worried that you won't create the look I want
I don't even start sourcing your collection until you are happy that I'm creating the look you want.
I'm nervous that I'll end up with a wardrobe full of clothes that I'm too afraid to wear!
I am very aware change looks different for everyone and so I make every effort to guide you at a pace that is right for YOU. We'll discuss how radical a change you want on a scale of 1 - 5, and move forward at a pace that you’re comfortable with.
I hope that answers your questions but if you have any more, please let me know!
